About
What The Rich Stack is
A one-person software business run by Rich Vaughan, based in the United Kingdom, building tools for ecommerce founders.
The business
The Rich Stack builds and sells software for people who run online stores. Everything sold here started as something I built for my own stores first, then productised so other founders can run it themselves.
What it sells
The product is Abaxar: a self-hosted ecommerce reporting dashboard that pulls Shopify, Amazon, Meta, Google, TikTok, Klaviyo and GA4 into one local database on your own machine, so every channel’s numbers sit in one place that you own. It is sold on this site, with purchases processed by Polar as merchant of record. For founders who want it running in the cloud without doing the setup themselves, there is a done-for-you deployment service.
Who runs it
I’m a mechanical engineer who spent 12 years as an ecommerce founder, running and growing online stores across Shopify and Amazon as a solopreneur, generating over seven figures in sales. Along the way I stopped delegating tasks to people and started building systems instead — dashboards, automations, data pipelines. Abaxar is the first of those systems I’ve made available to others.
I show how these tools are built and used on YouTube. Not theory — the stack I build and use.
